01Day One · Arrival & the village
Mangalore → Samse
- 12:00 PM — pickup from Mangalore Central / Mangalore Junction
- Visit the Thousand Pillar Jain Temple (Saavira Kambada Basadi), Moodbidri
- Stop at the hanging bridge en route
- Continue towards Samse Village
- Lunch during the journey — at the guest’s own expense
- Arrive at Samse — settle in & fresh-up
- Evening tea & snacks
- Dinner
- Campfire & games, subject to weather
- Overnight stay at Samse
02Day Two · The summit day
Netravati Peak → Mangalore
- 6:00 AM — fresh-up, breakfast & collect the packed lunch
- 6:30 AM — jeep safari to the Netravati trek base point
- Forest entry formalities, safety briefing & trek instructions
- The trek — forest, mist, streams & mountain views
- Packed lunch at a suitable point on the trail
- Reach Netravati Peak — explore and take in the views
- Descend to the base point — jeep safari back to Samse
- Fresh-up & evening tea before departure
- Depart for Mangalore — expected drop 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Cancellation Policy
Clear terms, up front.
Mountain weather and forest access are outside anyone's control. These are the terms you agree to when you book with Chai Routes.
Standard cancellations
- Cancel 7 or more days before the trek date and you receive a 75% refund.
- Cancellations within 7 days of the trek date are not refundable.
- Eligible refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7 working days of confirmation.
Rescheduling & transfers
- Bookings are non-transferable and cannot be rescheduled on request — regardless of personal reasons, unavailability or a change of plans.
Weather, forest closures & safety calls
- If a trek is called off for bad weather, forest or trail closures, or a safety decision made in your interest, no refund is issued. Instead you choose either:
- Reschedule to any date within 12 months, subject to availability; or
- A full-value voucher, valid 12 months, redeemable against any future Chai Routes trip.
Government orders & extraordinary events
- No refunds are issued for cancellations caused by government-imposed restrictions, natural calamities, or other circumstances beyond Chai Routes' control.
- In these cases the same two options apply — reschedule within 12 months, or a full-value 12-month voucher.
Travel costs
- For last-minute disruptions, Chai Routes is not responsible for travel costs you incur to reach the pickup point.
By confirming a booking with Chai Routes you acknowledge and agree to these terms. They exist to keep trips running while offering fair alternatives when conditions are genuinely outside our hands.
